I have a small leak in the sidewall of my SLS paddle tire.  What is the best way, other than a new tire, to repair this.  I tried a little slime and it worked well until I ran the bike, then it started leaking again.  I have heard that a tube is ok but the tire pressure must be high which isn't what I want for drag racing.

Any luck with tire patches?  The tire stores say they won't do it.

Let me know what you guys have tried that works.

We run skat trac paddles in the coal and put holes in thw side wall a lot we either put a plug in them or patch the inside. I sand down the inside to rough it up use napa vulcanizing. Cement and put a patch over that.

I got the vulcanizing glue from Napa and a large rubber patch.  It worked great and is holding air with no leaks.  I will post back up if it fails after I run the bike but hopefully not.

Thanks again guys for the replies.
