why does my banshee run better with the slides in backwards. i put them in with the cut out towards the air filter and it wont run worth a shit, swap them and it runs like new.   why is this???????

its got 270 mains and stock pilots (25).   bored 60 over, boost bottle, dynoport 2 into 1 exhaust.

Because you have a boost bottle and a 2:1 pipe- get some real performance parts.

when you say wont run and runs great. Are you talkind about idle or while riding

Because the guy before you adjust the idle screw and air screw with slide wrong way, put them where they need to be and adjust your idle or tors screw and air screw.

I've never put slides in backwards, but I think from posts here, people say it runs slobbery rich when you do. If yours runs good with them in backwards, I would very highly suspect big air leaks. Probably cracked boots from that damn boost bottle. Better do a leakdown test.
