I've owned a 04 banshee for about a year and a half and love it. It is currently a 65mm with stock carbs, boost bottle, pods, rad valve, T6 toomeys, cool head, 20cc domes and ported. I'm upgrading my carbs to 34 mm mikuni's. I know this is close to a topic just started, but as a first timer on the forum I didn't want to hi-jack a thread. So my question is, what do you guys recommend for intakes? External cross over, internal cross over, no cross over

The crossover really isnt needed but definately get rid of the tube. Other than that get either one you want based off looks or cost but the crossover doesnt matter one way or the other.

Built in cross over intakes are kinda prone to leak. Especially with heavy carbs. You may not have a problem but i would run good old rubber intake boots over the two peice built in jawns. You can buy them with and without crossover flanges. I would unload those t-6's and get some t-5's too.

More importantly, why are you putting 34mil carbs on that bike? 34mm carbs are OVERKILL for that bike and a waste of money imo, unless you plan on building a stroker. Save your loot and buy something worthwhile for that build. 34's would fuel a 4mil LR. My 28mm pwks fuel my trail ported shee just plenty, and with relatively similar mods. Ditch your boost bottle for a regular crossover tube....even polish it if you want for a pimp-ass crossover. Those stock intake boots will still work for 28's so no need to invest money into a single, or two-piece design you dont need.

Too much words.
