help jetting banshee

i have a 1987 banshee its bored .30 over it has answer equalizer silencers(never heard of them before). it was stock airbox and stock carbs. the jetting i have right now is a 200 main and a 25 pilot.

 

it is hard to start when cold and has a very high idle

 

any help is appreciated

ya other then the weird silencers

as it gets cold gets leaner.

so should i increase my jet sizes and will it fix my high idle and hard cold starting

you could try a size bigger main and play with ur idle adj. and a/f screw. should help

i have a 220 main thats not in do you think that would be a big enough one

id try it might ba a lil rich not sure sure with stock pipes and carbs . id try it and if it doesn't bog or foul plugs id run with it. and to your other thread if tors is removed there should be a idle screw that goes into the slide out for lower idle in for higher idle the a/f screw is back of the carb where the boot hooks them to the box
