hp2000 Posted September 11, 2012 Report Posted September 11, 2012 This tank was not that bad and no fender cutting easy swap.. Quote
dave5.0 Posted September 11, 2012 Report Posted September 11, 2012 What brand is that? How big is it? That looks like it would clear my lonestar steering stem. Quote
hp2000 Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 IMS from what I remember but this one was a bit more pricey. Quote
Glenyboy Posted September 14, 2012 Report Posted September 14, 2012 I just made myself a rack, mounted it to the stock grab. A couple of bolts and it's removed, and all it cost was a bit of time and a couple of nuts and bolts as I got the aluminium from a job today... Quote
dave5.0 Posted September 15, 2012 Report Posted September 15, 2012 Dude no pipes on that turd? Damn get with the program! Quote
Glenyboy Posted September 15, 2012 Report Posted September 15, 2012 Got t5's, it's gotta have stock parts to be made road legal. Once I have the paperwork all the goodies can go on!! Quote

Glenyboy Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 It's not an easy task if you want to do it the legitimate way! You can ride it unmodified I.e. Dirt tires, no mirrors turn signals etc. But that's classed as an agricultural vehicle and you can't go over 15 mph and over 1 or 2 miles from you home. The route I've gone is plg which is a car registration, so it has to have all the things your car has, horn, turn signals, road legal tires. This way you have to pay road tax but I can drive anywhere at the speed limits. And the best thing about it is the banshee is the cheapest quad to insure as its a 350, raptors are crazy money to insure as everyone thinks they're the fastest because of the engine size. Quote

That is frickin awesome Quote
Buckwheat Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 How do these affect the handling of the quad? When fully loaded with gas/cooler etc Makes wheelies lots easier. Quote
bustedknuckles Posted November 17, 2012 Report Posted November 17, 2012 I had one on my yfz, if I put a cooler and a gallon can of fuel on it after a ride it would loosen or break the bolts in the mounts, I took it off gora blingstar grab bar and haven't fooled with it since Quote
Hibnecker1 Posted December 11, 2012 Report Posted December 11, 2012 The one i put on mine is awesome! its strong and easy to take off plus it makes a nice little foot bar for those times when you lie over the handle bars... I recomend it to everyone Quote
2004LEBanshee Posted December 21, 2012 Report Posted December 21, 2012 I wouldn't put too much weight on it. The person who wrote the review had his bust on our first ride. Since the rack is able to be removed it is a little loose. The bouncing around will oval out the pin whole and get bigger and bigger allowing more and more play till the weld breaks. Probably the shittiest 6 pack rack there is IMO. Good idea but does not work in the real world. Quote
