painted case or?

is there a reason everyone paints there case? I was going to leave mine stock looking and then leave the jugs the same way. I think it would stay cooler too?

Does powder coating hold up?

I haven't seen a set yet that held up to methanol or carb cleaner. I use both around my carbs quite a bit and its just easier to leave them alone. I bead-blast them and chemical wash my cases before assembly. After those two, not much sticks to them.

I loved how mine looked after I powdercoated it. But as was already said, brake/carb cleaner wrecks it after a while.
