Ya I doubt that smart ass. You can ask anyone about Redlines dyno it does not throw big numbers. My 421 cub on gas makes 94hp on the same dyno. That was after several runs to tune it.

A dyno is just a tuning tool.

 

What I look for with my potential future mods is power delivery, power curve, and how smooth it is into the power band. In a way, those three are the same thing.

I agree 100% that the dyno is really just meant to be used as a tuning tool. the number really in the end does not matter as long as the bike is preforming like you want it to. I was simply pointing out that the guy ask for numbers and telling him that his bike is only going to be 40hp is just not right and if any of these people that said that had spent much time on a dyno themselves they would know that.
