sheeNZ Posted June 15, 2012 Report Posted June 15, 2012 hey guys have noticed a slight knocking noise coming from my trans. the bike rides algood shifts algood idles algood when clutch is in or owt. just wandering if its normal? or something is wrong.. any info on what it could be would be much appreciated.. bansheesandrider Posted June 15, 2012 Report Posted June 15, 2012 (edited) If it is coming from the clutch cover area, you could have had the clip come off the kick idler gear and run through the primary drive roughing up some gear teeth and make them knock.
