colinwoods84 Posted May 23, 2012 Report Posted May 23, 2012 received a banshee for free thats totally in parts. I have no idea about these machines or what can be done to them but lets just say I am in a no rush project. With that being said, I am going to tear down the entire engine do a complete rebuild and make this thing right. as it sits right now its a rust bucket with no promise. If I am about to start tearing this things apart, does any one have any good ideas for mods or better performance upgrades. A little advice would be appreciated. Quote

Be quick and dependable. Im not gonna be racing it, maybe just messing around. Take out once in a while. Impress a few friends. Quote

Take out once in a while. Impress a few friends. In that case just build a stock stroke mildly ported stock cylinder engine. It will be plenty quick and dependable, with some bolt on mods to compliment the port work like properly jetted carbs ,,adjustable timing plate,,good reeds and filter and some good exhaust. Quote
