dave5.0 Posted April 29, 2012 Report Posted April 29, 2012 So did ya notice anything goin from SSTs to Fatties? I'd yank that airbox lid off and secure the filter. Or get a pro design plate. Then jet it up. Run a lil better gettin more air in it. I never have been able to get one to run worth a crap with a lid on it. Can't imagine a ported one at that. Quote

Can't imagine a ported one at that. i noticed a huge difference from the sst to the fatty's! definatly alot more mid and top now. loving it! and i feel like the throttle response is better, but that may be all the other work done! had the lid on just to keep the filter covered while i was building, got a dynojet stage 2 jet kit! and pro flow filters! kevin at HJR did a great job on the porting, she is a rocket now! hotrodbanshee Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 Let's us know how your swingarm adapter holds up. Heard they are not safest. What kind of riding do you do? Quote
Judge1 Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 I would put those SST's back on. They are FMF's mid high pipe. Quote
