Is there a way to identify Toomey needles and are they needed?

Just bought a Banshee with full set of Toomey T5 pipes and I tore down the carbs to maintenance. Is there a way I can tell if the needles are the Toomey needles and is it necessary to run them? Also, is there a source other than Toomey to buy the right needles, they want $50 for the needles. I can take a picture tonight of the needles.

I have an 02 Banshee with T5's and Toomey's "Jet Kit".

I plan on pulling the carbs this weekend for maintenance.

I can look at the needles for you if you don't find out by then.

ive got some sitting here i pulled them out and put stock needles in made one hell of a difference pain in the ass to turn with toomey needles but if ya wants some toomey needles ive got some right here for ya
