With the lid off and a k&n I don't think there is much to gain at all. I've switch to pods from an open air box and k&n and changed 1 jet size. sprinklerman Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 Im going to disagree with you gaining anything at all with the level of mods you have now...or will likely have in the future,,short of a all out drag bike. If your airbox has the lid removed,and you run a K&N with a proflo adapter,you will be making the same if not MORE hp& tq. I have seen more than one 70-75 hp 4mil running a K&N with an airbox. I really think the longer intake tract length of the stock airbox helps get a better signal thru the carbs. Quote
