Seized Banshee Motor

Recommended Posts

Okay here is the deal. I just bought a 2002 Banshee with a seized motor. So I go the take the head off the head off the bike and i find big chucks of metal in the one of the pistons. Four the life of me I can not figures out where the chucks of metals came from. What I'm going to have to replace?

:whoa: HOLY CRAP!

I don't think that motor seized.....I think it IMPLODED!

I wonder if your going to have ANYTHING of value in that motor.

What did he do, run some nitro RC car mix for fuel? :bolt:

Any chance that motor had Trinity domes in it? :rotflmao::jesterlaugh::lol::evil:

wow, if you bought that thinking you could fix it easy, and then asking us what, you should probably have it built for you, and drop the motor in. i can tell you that the pistons are fucked, the dome on that side, at least is 99% likely fubar, the crank has had stuff run through it, maybe still there and needs cleaned out, and the cylinders may be damaged beyond what a bore can fix, bu maybe not. first thing i would be looking at (or having looked at) is the cylinders. they will tell you so much of what you need to know
