So after doing a search and finding no resuilts... Does anyone know of any reason not to weld the bolts to the knuckles (what some may call spindles) so that they do not loosen? These are the bolts that hold the piece that the tie rod goes, to the rest of the knuckle. I've just noticed that over time these damn bolts seem to loosen a little even when torqued down.

mine have a tackweld on them. it was that way when i got it so either a previous owner did it or it came that way from the factory.

Must be factory. We have a Banshee, Blaster and Warrior and they all have the bolts welded. I could see someone re-doing it if they wanted different colors, chrome bolts, etc. If yours are unwelde I'd just coer the bolts good with red loctite.

ALL the Banshees and Blasters I have had were welded from the factory, as were the extra knuckles I have had. If your knuckles are not welded, my guess would be someone has been mixing and matching some steering arms and knuckles!

Ah I was just looking at them quickly, and the tack's on the one broke. Going to have them both just loc-tited and re-welded with a nice bead around so it wont happen again.
