I am looking to buy reeds for my '88 Banshee and notice that Boyesen sells two different reeds. One type is called Power Reed and the other is called Pro Series. I have been trying to discover the difference between the two, but have been unable to find out the real differences between them. Does anyone know the differences between these two types of reeds?

Also, is there any real advantage to running either type of these Boyesen reeds over just running a brand new pair of stock Yamaha reeds?

Thanks!!!

I do know that the pro series is carbon fiber reeds and the other one is not. You can google boyeson and go to there website. They explain the differences quite well. Check it out.

Im not sure what the names are, but in some of boyesens reeds, they are carbon fiber, in others they are not, and some are two stage while others are single stage.

If you want some of the carbon single stage ones I've got a pair. I accidentally boght them instead of the two stage pair, but I can't return them because I opened the little thing that holds the product information on the back so that I could read it.
