penguin8747 Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 Over the summer I was riding my banshee and it just shut off on me and the I noticed that the spark plugs backed all the way out. The kick started wont move when you try to start it..I checked the stator and everything looked fine, but I'm wondering if it is anything else before I crack the case and see if it blow the pistons and rings...Thanks for the help Quote
BUILDER Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 If the plug is backed out and now the motor will not turn over you have burned up a piston from detenation. You need to tear the head off and look at the pistons. Quote

Larry's Shee Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 (edited) In the time since it blew you could have put it back together. Does A Hills in your profile refer to Auburn Hills, MI? Edited February 16, 2012 by Larry's Shee Quote

Concrete Posted February 17, 2012 Report Posted February 17, 2012 Exact thing that happened to me when I had my stock cylinder engine, that's the reason I ended up doing the switch over to a 421.... Ultimately, my problem happened to be a blown piston skirt... Quote
