ticktock Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=126456&pid=1105725&st=0entry1105725 Another 2-1 dyno Ya I ended buying the base for 600. So I now have 1200$ invested in a running 450r lol, going to sell it after I ride it and make sure it is reliable. I was going to put the motor together on the banshee tonight but my Yamabond is hard for some reason. I went to autozone/advanced and neither of them carry aviation dealer so I will goto napa tomorrow and I should have the shee ready for the weekend. Ported cylinders, cool head 20cc, CPI pipes, new clutch basket, ezshift kit. It should be strong now Until something else breaks. I also bought a set of works fronts for dirt cheap! Valves for 165-180 rider. Lol, I cleaned up on those I need to sell my dirtbike so I can buy a crank and cylinder. Lol Adam Quote
Snopczynski Posted February 27, 2012 Report Posted February 27, 2012 A 2 into 1 will be an improvement in low end power over a set of stock carbs. Top end wise it will not be better. The hot ticket for a trail port is a set of small flatside twin carbs like the PWK or TM28's. Quote
SlowMoe Posted February 29, 2012 Report Posted February 29, 2012 (edited) I talked to Kevin at HJR and he told me that the 2:1 from Trinity is worthless. A stock twin carb setup will dominate in all aspects. Especially up top. Edited February 29, 2012 by SlowMoe Quote
locogato11283 Posted February 29, 2012 Report Posted February 29, 2012 Snop has probably done more testing with the 2 into 1 set ups versus dual carbs than anyone else. I would listen to what he has to say about it. Quote
dcalsv02 Posted February 29, 2012 Report Posted February 29, 2012 Here is my 2-1 manifold compared to trinity's. I got mine from cascade innovations. Im hoping it will perform much better than the trinity one. Snop, tell me what you think. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=150011&st=0&p=1295216&fromsearch=1entry1295216 Quote
Paulie B Posted March 1, 2012 Report Posted March 1, 2012 Why not go with a 39/41mm carb for a 2n1 set-up? Quote
Snopczynski Posted March 1, 2012 Report Posted March 1, 2012 Why not go with a 39/41mm carb for a 2n1 set-up? It is too big. You run a carb that big on a 460-500cc motor with a single carb setup. Quote
