doug Posted February 5, 2012 Report Posted February 5, 2012 (edited) Hey Guys - anyone know what type of swing arm this is? It's a +4 finished in chrome that is chipping ; ) I'm trying to identify it so I can get the proper tool for adjusting the carrier. (see the holes to the left of the carrier) The previous owner used a screwdriver by the looks of it and made a mess. Edited February 5, 2012 by doug Quote
Dicklez Posted February 5, 2012 Report Posted February 5, 2012 You could buy a cheap set of spanner wrenches at harbor frieght I would assume. It should be a spanner wrench. There are different sizes and I dont know what size it would be. Quote
Phelps Posted February 5, 2012 Report Posted February 5, 2012 you just get a short piece of rod stock that fits in the hole... no special tool. i use a allen wrench. Quote
doug Posted February 5, 2012 Author Report Posted February 5, 2012 Thanks for the replies. I'll give the rod stock a shot. Quote
Rotax Raptor Posted February 6, 2012 Report Posted February 6, 2012 J J and A sells a nice carrier adjustment tool. Fits snug and doesn't tear the holes like a screw driver or squared thing do. Quote
doug Posted February 7, 2012 Author Report Posted February 7, 2012 Thanks, will check it out. Does anyone know brand of swing arm this is? Quote
