BigRed350x Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 I've had bad clutch basket cushions make a knocking sound. The basket smacks back and forth against the gear and makes a knocking sound. - Jared Quote

bansheesandrider Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 Pull your clutch cover and see what is going on in there first. Bad cushions ib the basket can make it knock, or if the snap ring and washer came off the kick idler gear and ran thruogh the primary gears, it can damage a gear tooth and make it knock. Quote
