mpd579 Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 Just split the case and put in a 4mil crank. I also put in a FAST clutch with heavy duty springs at the same time. Put a few hours on the new setup over the past few days and it just isn’t shifting right to me. I have tons of trouble “finding” neutral and the shifts don’t feel has crisp now. It stills goes into every gear just feels completely different than before, and I could always get it into N easy. The clutch feels great pulling out, seems to engage and disengage just fine. I didn’t mess with anything in the transmission when I had the case open either. IDEAS what I’ve done wrong? Quote
Phelps Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 different oil, thicker, not enough, clutch not adjusted right etc Quote
sheerider11 Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 Sounds like you still might be out of adjustment. Did you adjust for the thickness of the new clutch? Quote
yz4jdm Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 Clutch adjustment and possibly replace the ball if it has flat spots. Quote

Jereme6655 Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 Pull your cover and make sure your eccentric screw is still in adjustment.... The screw should be smack dab in the middle of the arms inside there Quote
sstaton1983 Posted January 13, 2012 Report Posted January 13, 2012 i made a big jump in horse power, and my trans didnt like it at all.i ended up pulling it back apart inspected everything and cut my trans gears and modded my shift star.it was 100% better. Quote
