Thanks in adavnce. Been running the R50 for 17 years with NO problems. Used to run Benol, but the wife's bike carboned up because she did not ride it hard enough. I would also recomend the Klotz Flex Drive 30 tranny oil. Never lost a bearing, gear, clutch, shift fork, or welded a clutch ball with it(no pancake). Quote

bfn18 Posted January 4, 2012 Author Report Posted January 4, 2012 I replaced the clutch ball already. The previous owner melted half the ball lol. But im def going to run the klotz flex drive 30 but still want more opinions on the 2 stroke oil. How often do you guys change the tranny oil. Quote
remi_357 Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 I run r-50. But I'm switching to super techniplate cause it is easier to get locally Quote
Bkm2006 Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 either are good .. just run whatever you can get tech. and r50 are both good.. i run r50 but its just because it is easier for me to get. Quote
bfn18 Posted January 4, 2012 Author Report Posted January 4, 2012 I would have to order either one. All they have by me thats worth anything is 927. Quote
beez33 Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 I have ran both and they are both great oils. I am running super techniplate now be cause it has the best of both worlds. 15%Castor for film strength and 80% synthetic for clean burning. Jmo Quote
bfn18 Posted January 4, 2012 Author Report Posted January 4, 2012 Yea i think im going with the super techniplate and flex drive 30. Thanks guys Quote
yz4jdm Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 I like the 927 myself... but I hear really good things about the Klotz. Ive just run the 927 for so long it wins by default... lol Quote
CFH87 Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 I run super tech at 32:1 and flex in the trans... But what you put in is only as good as the parts you use. Quote
bfn18 Posted January 5, 2012 Author Report Posted January 5, 2012 Now the question is, is $50 a good price for a gallon of suoer techniplate Quote
beez33 Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 Not bad if your picking it up locally. I think I get it for $45. Rocky mountain sells it for around $45 I believe. Quote
Finch Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 i run benol 40:1 have no complaints yet Quote
