CAJUN BANSHEE Posted December 22, 2011 Report Posted December 22, 2011 Hit me with some pros and cons on replating my damaged cylinder. I really hate to part with this setup, it ran like a three legged chicken. Thanks in advance and merry Christmas. Quote
Fastassbanshee96 Posted December 23, 2011 Report Posted December 23, 2011 What kind of cylinder is it? Cub? You don't replate stock cylinders just bore them. Quote

n2otoofast4u Posted December 23, 2011 Report Posted December 23, 2011 You can plate or sleeve stock cylds. Quote
CAJUN BANSHEE Posted December 23, 2011 Author Report Posted December 23, 2011 Who replates cylinders? Quote
Jereme6655 Posted December 23, 2011 Report Posted December 23, 2011 i know our sponsors either know who does it or they will have it done for you.......but im pretty sure its millenium that does it. Quote
Larry's Shee Posted December 25, 2011 Report Posted December 25, 2011 I had Miilinium do some sno-mos for me and actually got my Wiescos from them. I can recomend them, work was flawless. They also do repair work/welding. I think U.S. Chrome also does this type of work. Quote
Broke_Banshee Posted January 13, 2012 Report Posted January 13, 2012 i was talking with the calvin and he said after like 4 replates it starts to make the aluminum brittle,we could not figure out why studs started lifting and that was his final answer Quote
edgehanger Posted January 14, 2012 Report Posted January 14, 2012 Replate stock cylinders? You mean re-sleeve? Quote
Broke_Banshee Posted January 14, 2012 Report Posted January 14, 2012 yeah i didnt read the whole post, when he said cylinder i automatically thought cub Quote
CAJUN BANSHEE Posted January 15, 2012 Author Report Posted January 15, 2012 I was told the stock cylinders can be replated up to .020. But I'm screwed either way since it looks like the damage is more than that. The cost to resleeve and report isn't what I wanted to spend on this set up again. I'll go to a cub. Quote
CAJUN BANSHEE Posted January 15, 2012 Author Report Posted January 15, 2012 Anyone got a 421 for sale. I've got a 4mil crank just need the cylinders. Quote
