mike0chek Posted September 30, 2011 Author Report Posted September 30, 2011 ok sweet this one with fit up to 16 if anyone else is wondering http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Tmd-Atv-Case-Savers-Blk-Banshee-87-up-Indestructible-/220845528374?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item336b6b5536 Quote
Azryll Posted September 30, 2011 Report Posted September 30, 2011 I have the TM one and it fits good, I've never tried a 16t on it tho. You should be able to get it for around 50 bucks shipped. The place you linked was overpriced. Quote
jbooker82 Posted September 30, 2011 Report Posted September 30, 2011 TM Design Works is the best case saver. It is brased against the cases so it wont honk on the small 3 mounting screws near as bad. It is also plastic so it absorbs engergy instead of transfering it. Quote
apeik Posted September 30, 2011 Report Posted September 30, 2011 What Jbooker said x2, i run one and it's fit is unmatched. If you chain tries to spool up, nothing will break, it's super snug against the case in 3 places. They claim it can run a 16 tooth, but id only bet on a 15 since it's pretty tight with one on. Quote

apeik Posted September 30, 2011 Report Posted September 30, 2011 The only downside to them is the price, as is everything with T.M. designworks stuff. It all seems to be good quality though. Quote
2004LEBanshee Posted September 30, 2011 Report Posted September 30, 2011 I bought a cheap plastic style one off E-bay. It looks like the brandname ones but was like $30. It seems to be great. I wouldnt pay more for a cool name but I would only buy a plastic one. They seem to absorbe a blow better then a solid metal one. JMO Quote

spurdy Posted October 2, 2011 Report Posted October 2, 2011 Did they change the deminsions on this one? I have the same one andit won't even clear a 15t without modification. Had it for a few years though. SP Quote

Had it for a few years though. SP I am not for sure. I only run a 14T. It does look like a tight fit though. I would moddify it just enough to clear. Then let the chain wear it the rest of the way in. Quote
