KINGpimp Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 i have 2 banshee's, one that is a 02 and another that is 05, the 05 has vf3 reeds and the 02 doesnt... if it wasnt for the 02 being extended it wouldnt have a chance with the 05 cause the 05 comes up to easily!!! there is a difference i think in power and quickness, both of my bikes are "stock" other than being extended and vf3 reeds and spacers Quote

Azryll Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 When I put them on my bike I didn't notice anymore power really (even if it did give or couple HP or not I think it would be hard to tell without a dyno), but as Zilla said I really noticed it on throttle response and how much crisper it felt to me. I'm only running a 4mil so it might be different with a more/less modded engine. Quote

But the same performance gains could be had from a $50 set of boyesen dual stage power reeds. You wont see the full potential of VF cages until you get into some bigger dune/drag type setups. VF isn't always the best option.. Quote
