badshee2003 Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 i have 2003 banshee when i first got it it took like 70 kicks to get it started. i thought it was the coil so i replaced it with a new one but still no luck with starting it. so after that i did a compression test and got 96 to the right and 95 to the left. so i replaced the topend with a rebore and new piston now the compression is great but it still wont start. to only mods are toomy t6 pipes, jetkit, new stator. i just cant get it to start... FullThrottle_06' Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 Need to make sure you have her jetted right and also NO air leaks since you had the top-end apart. Quote

badshee2003 Posted July 20, 2011 Author Report Posted July 20, 2011 it doesnt have spark and its getting gas theres no air leaks could it be the cdi??? i have a rmstator got spark cdi on it Quote
BrockMoto Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 First check all the wires. Make sure theyre connected good and correctly and your tors is unplugged if u arent running them... Is the kill switch on? Hey you never know... Then try to see if theres spark with a new plug... If not check to see if the stator is functioning (ohm meter) did the flywheel nut fall off?... Quote
BrockMoto Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 (edited) Also ensure that the new coil is in working condition Then last is cdi Edited July 20, 2011 by SheeRider105 Quote
