chrisp250r Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 we have 2 sets of shearer drag pipes, one set was supposed to be big bore and the other was supposed to be small bore. they were bought from 2 different people at 2 different times and are almost identical and we dont know if we have 2 sets of big bore or 2 sets of small bore... the diameters are identical from the flange to the stinger the only difference is the ones that were supposed to be big bore have a curved stinger and the "small bore" ones have a straight stinger but i think thats just because one set is older than the other.. can anyone help out with some measurements to let me know what we have here? majorcr3 Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 If they are big bore the flange that hooks to the cylinders will be much larger then a small bore flange. Unless its a big bore small flange then i dont know what to tell you. Quote
shanYE west Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 The pipe coming off the exhaust flange is larger on the big bore pipes.. almost the same size as the flange its self.. On the small bores the pipe after the flange is quite a bit smaller then the flange. Quote
chrisp250r Posted July 8, 2011 Author Report Posted July 8, 2011 both are small flange, is there a difference in the diameter of the stingers maybe? Quote

chrisp250r Posted July 8, 2011 Author Report Posted July 8, 2011 how much smaller is the pipe than the flange on sb? these are a little smaller, like maybe 1/4 inch smaller than the o.d. of the flange Quote
Tedder Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 Fouledout421 is correct. I owned a set of each and the only difference was the head pipe that connects to the flange is larger on the big bore. Quote
