shanYE west
Just for fun, less say that both engine are placed in a stock drag frame. Whitch do you think would come out on top!! Input and thoughts. lol depends on the work put into them and who does it. Some builders do twister.. some do CP.. Pick your poison.
qhall28
So that could be the reason why you dont see as many twisters motor as dm motors. It takes more work to get the power out of it.
n2otoofast4u
Why wouldn't you compare a 78 bore billet against a 78 bore dm? Right away the billet is giving up quite a few cc between a mini and a dm.
qhall28
Thats true, But would it make that much of a difference?
n2otoofast4u
Thats true, But would it make that much of a difference? Yes, the big block twister is a much closer comparison.
BigRed350x
Thats true, But would it make that much of a difference? You need to compare a Big Block Twister with a 78mm bore to the DM cylinder with a 78mm bore. Between those two, I would pick the Twister. I'm not a fan of CP industries, and have had both the big block twister and the small block twister. They are awesome. But comparing a DM to a small block is like comparing a cheetah to stock cylinders. You need to get both cylinder blocks in the same size to make it a good comparison. If you are going to use the 75mm bore small-block then go with a cheetah for comparison. Given the comparison you brought up, I would have to say the DM would be the winner. Change the small-block to a big block with a 78mm bore and I would say its probably going to be a toss-up due to rider ability and bike setup.
