Irishchris Posted May 18, 2011 Report Posted May 18, 2011 Just wondering if anyone has run a 4 mil stroker crank with stock cylinders ported to match, the setup from herr juggs. Was wondering how power this adds and how it was for trail riding. I have pipes, reed, and carbs to match the setup. Quote

Yeah I thought alot of guys run this. Im going to have HJR do the porting and I have all the bolt on stuff alreay. Have 30mm carbs and pro circuit pipes. Quote
TwistedSheeRida Posted May 19, 2011 Report Posted May 19, 2011 im running a 4mm longrod, cool head, no port, 33pwks, vf2s, slingshot lockup, T5s, and -1 roundhouse swinger. I like it i have a set of full drag cyls that will go on when i lunch this top end. Pretty mint setup it is a handful in the tight stuff. Quote
blubyyou Posted May 19, 2011 Report Posted May 19, 2011 I just finished assembling my HJR 4mil with aggressive dune/play port. I have PC pipes, all the bolt ons, PWK 35 air strikers (I'm still dialing in my jetting- I'm a little rich). I can tell you this bike flat rips, I've only had it up to 3rd gear so far around the house. He can set you up with a killer setup! I'm going to use this for a trail bike only. I have full suspension with elka's, laeger arms, round house swinger so it should be able to handle the power in the woods. Long story short...massive power, hits hard, and flat hauls!!! My LTR 450 won't see much time in the woods this summer now lol. Quote
Profilact Posted May 19, 2011 Report Posted May 19, 2011 I am running this setup but porting is done by Jeff at FAST. If you are going from bolt on only setup to this, you will be very pleased. Its like night and day. I know that both Jeff and Kevin do great work. You will not be disappointed! Quote
Irishchris Posted May 19, 2011 Author Report Posted May 19, 2011 I started the tear down today got the engine out and took the top end apart. Gotta get some tools for the flywheel and the clutch basket. Im going to have HJR do the cylinders he seems like a great guy to work with. I will let everyone know how it goes. Thanks for the info guys. Quote
