LS3 Machine Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 a-arms front shocks -2 swingarm compression why -2? Thanks, Tim Quote
jackass_25 Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 Timing +4, shaved head, Reeds, mild port job (depending on how deep you want to go). The list goes on.... the more power you get the more you want! Quote
Jereme6655 Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 why -2? Thanks, Tim some people like longer swingers so that they can get into the power harder and worry less about the front end coming up on them. however depending how much you extend you may run into issues with turning or trail riding. Others like to use a shorter swingarm....they say it handles better as long as you know when to back out of the throttle before its too far over to recover. they actually INCREASE traction......where a longer swinger will actually give you slightly less traction.... its honestly nothing but personal preference. toytech Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 dune port with 4mil crank,34 mm carbs,+2 swing arm,R2 pipes,+4 timing,8 or 10 paddle haulers, coolhead with custom domes, shocks, a arms....... the list can go on for ever. you've been bitten by the money bug the faster it gets the faster you want to go Quote
06specialedition Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 It really comes down to what kind of riding you do. I've build my bike to only ride dunes....so everyone is different. First off just start out with your basic bolt ons.....pipes, filters, head, timing, reeds...etc. Then you can start the real modding from there. Suspension is very important, if your good with how fast you banshee is I would put some $$$ into the suspension. Quote
