35 mm pods rubbing

Recommended Posts

so i just got my new carbs in (35mm pwks) and when i put them on i could barely fit the air filters on as there was like no room. once i finally did get them put on they were resting on the exhaust pipes. is there anything i can do about this? i thought about getting the filters that are angled but those wont work because they are literally touching each other so they wont be able to angle in. what have you guys done with this issue? thanks!

Yea I kno cascade innovations I'm from that area, how does the heat wrap work? That's what I was originally thinking of doing if it'll work and won't burn my outerwears.

i have 20 degree K&N filters , they are just the ticket i have them rotated and angled just right to wear they are not touching the lower frame rail or the exhaust pipes, i have about 3/4 " clearence from filter to exhaust pipe on both sides . i had a heck of time before with straight filters .
