high comp pistons

im at a 65.5 bore with the pro x pistons. could i change these out for high comp pistons without having any problems?

You would have to change domes or shave head to increase compression.

I have never seen high comp. pistons for a banshee. Did you have some in mind? To raise comp. you either have a cool head and select smaller dome sizes or have your stock head milled.

I believe its either namura or vertex that makes high comp pistons for the banshee. They are out there, as I've seen them before, but I would rather see you change out the domes or shave the stock head, to increase sompression. Nobody mentioned either that a thinner base gasket will increase compression.

so you guys think it would be best to just get a cool head and domes rather than a high comp piston? i was just surious lol

Yes best to get the cool head.

I would check to see what compression your at now before you just order a cool head with random domes.

i personally dont know anyone who has had good luck with Namura pistons, including myself. Good chance you will be doing your top end over again.

I would like to know what makes those Namura pitons "high compresion", they look just like the stock pistons to me. They probably call them that becuase your compression goes up when you bore it and install them and end up with a better ring seal. I always thought you could not get high compression pistons for a 2 stroke because when you start changing the piston top to get high compression, you fuck up the port timing in a 2 stroke.

Side by side comparison their the same as Vitos power pistons. But the vitos dont break like Namuras do.

I would go with a cool head or shave your stock one down. Then you wouldn't have to mess with taking your motor apart and you will have options on compression by changing domes.
