Original Rocket pipe connector clamps

These things are big. I have like 5 sets of different clamps at home but they are all too small to fit over the diameter of the pipes, lol... What are you using?

Jd, i use some cascade BB clamps and i shaved out a lil bit of the rubber and shoved them on. But i always hi temp silicone the connection before i clamp them as well. 100% seal, perfect fit, never leaks.

I used the stock clamps on mine with no problems.

I run those original rockets also and the rubber seems to be best if you dont want to spend a crazy amount for the bling bling ones lol.

 

 

Savage420 what brand of silicone do you use?? Im going to try that because no matter what rubber/clamp combo I use I always get a tiny bit of oil that finds its way out. Thanks

I always use Permatex Hi-Temp RTV Silicone for all my pipes, sled, dirtbike and quads. I just put some on the head pipe end where it meets the stinger end, then shove the stingers on. Then i lay a nice wide bead around the joints, let it sit for just a lil bit. Then i clamp my clamps on and they never leak or drip ever, good stuff.
