amont21987 Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 My shee has been running funny and I was looking and seen that the guy before me that had the quad just cut the wire on the parking brake up by the clutch lever and put a block off plate on it but all the wires are stil there could that be affecting how it revs and takes off still cause it runs better before I put it in gear but as soon as I do it bogs down and doesn't want to take off and wants to die Quote

Its on the drivers side of the bike, opposite of the coil. If it still does the bog thing after the TORS box is unplugged then you likely have another issue. When was the last time you cleaned your carbs & put fresh plugs in? Checked your compression recently? Quote
Jereme6655 Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 your bike also have a parking brake limiter.....it kills the bike when you put it in gear with the parking brake on ..........some people have problems with the switch so they just cut the wires to the parking brake which solves the problem.....that's why yours has been cut. its no big deal Quote
