I would like to improve my ride on my 89! are their kits available to accomplish this or should I track down a different frame?

You could go with a different frame, OR, you can get ahold of Tim at Stellar, and get a set of his +2 J-arms. Some guys like the j-arm frames because they are lighter. I don't know HOW much lighter, but they are a little lighter than the a-arm frames.

Thanks for the ideas!

Just get +2+1 arms from Stellar and good shocks=done. Or might search e-gay for a kit, good luck with that.

Sounds like I git a hold of Stellar! thank again guys!

I saw the kits on E-gay (nice) and was scared! :shootself:

I have +2 +1 Jarms on my 87 frame. its the only way to go man, plus you keep the originality of the classic banshee frame. That means a lot to me.

Tim at stellar will take care of you and use ball joints strong enough for your style of riding. Some competitors will use smaller heim joints and are all most likely drag/hillshot J arms that are not suitable for trail riding or jumps. I just picked up a set of +2 +1's from Tim and they are second to none. Tell him you are a banshee HQ member.

Hey how much were those awesome arms? I was wanting some idea for a j-arm bike I can jump with, possibly mx, etc. I'll have to call him too and see what they can do because I have an opportunity to snag a j-arm frame, and as this is a common issue, I wanted to try it anyhow :headbang:
