locogato11283 Posted March 1, 2011 Report Posted March 1, 2011 Nice bike! You can barely build the motor brand new for $3700. You STOLE that bike. Quote
PowerTrippin Posted March 1, 2011 Author Report Posted March 1, 2011 IT HAS AN OVER RIDE TRANNY, CLUTCHLESS UP SHIFTS UNDER LOAD, clutch it WHEN NOT ON THE GAS. So do I have to use the clutch for 1st to 2nd shift or was he just being cautious? Thanks Loco it was a great buy but this was his backup bike to a 10mil cheetah on alcohol wich he sold for 4500 that would have been an awesome bike as well Jim. Quote

PowerTrippin Posted March 1, 2011 Author Report Posted March 1, 2011 JUST TO GET MOVING IN 1 ST. So after moving in 1st I should not need the clutch after that it should go right into 2nd (upshifting only) . Sorry just want to clarify this thanks Jim. Quote
NYUK Posted March 1, 2011 Report Posted March 1, 2011 no clutching after 1 st, only when you are off the gas. Quote

RJ65 Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 It sounds like you have a 2 - 5 override in there. I have the same one in my 350 drag bike. First to second is normal. For racing launch in second and no cluth all the way to 5th. Quote
PowerTrippin Posted March 2, 2011 Author Report Posted March 2, 2011 Allright I finally got my lazy a** outside and checked the carbs out. It has a 160 main 42 pilot and the needle clip is in the middle. From what I have read it seems that the pilot is too small and the main is a little high, because of work and the weather I still haven't had a good chance to ride for a long period of time. So my question is how far off do you think it is and what range of jets should I get so I can have them when needed. I figure anything above 65* and sunny i'll be riding and mostly racing Jim. Quote
