Mike Ockner Posted January 9, 2011 Report Posted January 9, 2011 I finished my 96 resto almost 2 yrs ago now and still haven't figured out my carb problem. The bike ran perfectly when I disassembled it and now it doesn't idle well and its acting like I'm running 10:1 fuel/oil ratio spewing oil from the silencers. It will open up and feel pretty normal down the road but I have no bottom end at all. I did install a TORS removal kit w/ idle screws and deleted all extra headlight, killswitch, taillight, and unused wiring from the harness. I'm pretty decent with electrical so I don't see this being the issue. I do have fresh 32:1 and plugs in it. Any suggestions would be great. Quote
CraigP Posted January 11, 2011 Report Posted January 11, 2011 I had the same no bottom end problem. All i did was rejet it and rebuild the carb because all the gaskets were old etc. and now it runs like a dream. I could be in 6th gear goin 10mph and it still wont bog Quote
