need help

i have a 421cc with 35mm carbs and im also running fmf gnarly pipes.the problem i see is that the pipe is very close to the to the carb on the left side.so im wondering if anyone has had the same problem

Yea both of those pipes are very good, I run CPI's. But if he likes his FMF's and wants a cheap fix, he could put a heat wrap around the stinger tubes.

Or maybe washers between hanger and frame to space it out some.

already did the washer thing and it is still close.not touching but close.im going to get other pipes but not right now.im using this for ice racing and flat track

A few ideas...

 

get some stinger heat shield wrap thingy's from cascadeinnovations.

get some header heat wrap from your local auto parts store and wrap the pipes.

get some different pipes that fit better around aftermarket parts (like shearer in-frames)
