banshee build Posted November 25, 2010 Report Posted November 25, 2010 hey guys, i just bought a 98 banshee with a horrible paintjob from the previous owner. it is white with blue up near the radiator. you can see runs everywhere and just an overall terrible job. my girlfriend has some crazy painting skills so i was going to have her paint them for me. i originally thought that a lightning paintjob would be pretty sweet, but i dont want to just jump right in and go with that. considering maybe some type of two tone or just painting everything black. if you guys could come up with some personal favorites of yours or cool ideas you have, that would be great and much appreciated. thanks guys Quote

I like the lighinint Idea... make it a nice multi tone colour purple blue and white... and it would be really flashy i have pics, but theyre on my cell phone and i cant find the usb to put them on my computer. yeah, with the lightning idea, i was going to go with a really dark semi metallic purple base, white lightning (obviously lol), and have highlights of a light blue in the lightning, im going to send the frame, a arms, and swinger out to be powdercoated black and i would also paint the rims black. i was thinking possibly getting some blue neon or some strobes and put them under the seat and in the front end, but i dont know if that would be to flashy because i do plan on riding it... thoroughly haha Quote

oakshee Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 you can send pics from your phone to your email via text hay banshee build next time you get a chance go to my gallery and look at all my bike's.. everyone of them is kustom painted.. i love paint, i do alot of airbrushing my self, with paint the sky's the limit,... lighting would be sick and its super easy,, it looks great in differnt colors to and on dark or light back ground, if i was you i would do somthing wild with tru fire flames,carbon fiber and tribal,clean it up with some pin stripes , it would look great. when ever i want to do new paint jobs i just go to google images and look up what ever you want. if you have any other questions just pm me and il help ya get set up with a eye catcher for sure,. I'm doing a Orange/Black General Lee banshee . Going for something like this . Heres how my Blaster Looked when I 1st got it And heres the after The blaster had the worst paint , It had blue plastics , that had been painted white , yellow and then black over that , was so shitty . some sanding and Krylon Fusion Patriot Blue and they came out looking really nice , then I stickered the shit out of it Good luck with the lightning paint scheme , It sounds pretty badass Quote
