banshee build

alright thanks guys, ill be sure to inspect it thoroughly. he does have another shee, ill have him take them both out and look at them both because he said he rides that other one all the time. ill listen to them both run at the same time and see if theyre running any different. im supposed to be meeting him this sunday so after i meet up with him, ill come back and let you guys know how it went. thanks guys

i have a 2003 trx 300ex that is pretty built, it has full dg exhaust, jetted, uni filter, new axle, new valve seals and gaskets, new billet bearing carrier, and wheel spacers, also a bigger drive sprocket. i painted the plastics too. i put it up on craigslist just to see what i would get for some offers and this guy emailed me that had a 1998 banshee. it has no rear brakes, clutch cover gasket leaks, full fmf exhaust, nerfs, trinity 2 into 1 carb, and a pro design cool head(unknown cc). the guy says that he hasnt ridden it in about a year and he started it up the other day and it runs good. he says that he is only trading it because he hasnt used it and because he has another banshee that he rides. the trx is for his wife. the only thing that i am concerned about is why would someone be coming to me with a banshee trying to trade for a trx 300ex?? but hey, im not complaining.. it is a huge deal for me i think.. tell me what you guys think.. im going to be checking it out this weekend. i also got a lot of deals for blasters too but i feel like they would be two slow.

the main jet i one of my other quads has a lock nut on it so that you can set it at different depths, i was wondering what differences it would make with differnt settings

what difference does it make, the depth of your jets? if you set them outwards, would that lean it out?

i have pics, but theyre on my cell phone and i cant find the usb to put them on my computer. yeah, with the lightning idea, i was going to go with a really dark semi metallic purple base, white lightning (obviously lol), and have highlights of a light blue in the lightning, im going to send the frame, a arms, and swinger out to be powdercoated black and i would also paint the rims black. i was thinking possibly getting some blue neon or some strobes and put them under the seat and in the front end, but i dont know if that would be to flashy because i do plan on riding it... thoroughly haha

hey guys, i just bought a 98 banshee with a horrible paintjob from the previous owner. it is white with blue up near the radiator. you can see runs everywhere and just an overall terrible job. my girlfriend has some crazy painting skills so i was going to have her paint them for me. i originally thought that a lightning paintjob would be pretty sweet, but i dont want to just jump right in and go with that. considering maybe some type of two tone or just painting everything black. if you guys could come up with some personal favorites of yours or cool ideas you have, that would be great and much appreciated. thanks guys
