leigh moore Posted November 19, 2010 Report Posted November 19, 2010 was looking at a quad tonight and its a twin air so has two power bands ? is this only specific to a certain year as i rode a 06 and 05 that were both just single power band? its feeling real solid and not messed with its 03 and hasn't been rebuilt or messed with im going to buy it but im going to do a little compression check on it before i hand over the money just to be sure the engine is in good health needs two new back tyres, petrol cap and maybe a set of rear pads i know to lift the seat and check for throttles opening at the same time anything else to look out for Quote

Twin Air is a bradn of air filters and the power band is when the engine hits its a certain RPM where it operates most effectively. A Banshee is a twin cylinder, there's no 2 power bands. That's the hit you get when you crack open the throttle an it feels like a turbo kicking in. Quote
