VictorK Posted November 9, 2010 Report Posted November 9, 2010 I have rear 20 inch bandits and even though the tread is still great they suck going up these leaf covered Connecticut hill climbs. Question is, do these tires bite better turned backwards? Quote
NYUK Posted November 9, 2010 Report Posted November 9, 2010 not really. great tire as far as durability but they are hard and heavy.. Quote
trickedcarbine Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 The leafy hills are quite the terrain to play on. Sometimes it is like trying to drive up a roller table. Any way, yes. The bandits will work a littke better turned around. Not much but it will help. Also, try airing them down a bit and re cut the siping grooves to be like a quater inch wide and somewhere around an eigth inch deep. Quote
VictorK Posted November 11, 2010 Author Report Posted November 11, 2010 Are you talking about the grooves from one side of the tire to the other(not front to back)? I need some holeshots and I'd be all set but they're not at the top of the never ending list Quote
