bansheemxkris Posted November 3, 2010 Report Posted November 3, 2010 Anyone know an easy way to loosen up some threebond 1211. The previous owner of my bike used a whole tube on the reeds and spacers and now i cannot get them apart. I am afraid of breaking the reeds. Anything that would loosen it up? Heat? Quote
Larry's Shee Posted November 3, 2010 Report Posted November 3, 2010 See if you can find a tube of it to get like 1-800 no. , they might be able to tell you what might disolve it. Only things I can think of are (sp) acetone, xylol , xylene, all nasty shit with acetone being least nasty . Might try little heat , enough to soften it up to get razor blade in there. JMHO , your results may vary. Quote
jbooker82 Posted November 3, 2010 Report Posted November 3, 2010 Yea I was going to say acetone too. Just make sure you dont leave it in to long other wise you might melt the reed block. Quote
