I am in need of some cash and need to sell my banshee i just got done building. It is a 2003 banshee, powder coated frame orange, 18cc domes, cool head, toomey t5s, lonestar axle, full set of paddles, full set of dirt tires, TORS removed, dune/drag port, was just bored to 64.75 mm wth new pistons. I literally just put the top end in it, heat cycled it, and started tuning the carbs. The frame is orange, a-arms and swinger are black, plastic is white, rad/tank and seat are black. I just got my bike back together and I can't keep it idling. It has a dune drag port, 18cc domes, stock carbs, 340 main, 25 pilot, screws 2 out, t5s, pods, 1250 elevation. Do I need to go to a 27.5 pilot?
Took everything apart and here is what it is currently set up as. Looks to be a dune/drag port job, .40 over wiseco, 18cc cool head, stock carbs 310 main: 25 pilot, stock reeds with aftermarket pedals, Toomey T5's. Dont know the compression. I forgot to do it before i tore it down.
I am interested in the plastics and maybe some of the motor parts. As soon as i get mine tore down i will let you know what all i need. Can you ship the plastics?
I just bought a new banshee and here is the info i got from the previous owner... Cool head with 19cc domes, drag port, stock carbs, toomey t5s. I took the bike to little sahara last weekend and it would bog with low rpms, get crazy mid range, and cut out top end. It was also over heating which made me think it was too lean. I raised the needle one notch and it cleaned it up a little but it was hell to kick start. Any ideas where i should start? I have no idea what jets are in it now. I am going to take it apart tonight.
