gotta_goatsfast Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 The dent is turning people off because it hinders more than just the appearance of the pipes. The expansion chamber's dimensions have been altered and might not be as efficient at reflecting fresh air/fuel back into the cylinder when the powerband comes on. Potential buyers might be turned off knowing there is a chance these pipes might not perform as good as clean pipes. I've heard of people using compressed air or filling the pipe with water and freezing it to pop the dents out, but that would be an "at your own risk" type of advice as I've never personally had to do it.
