Hi!

Saw the rear brake CBR caliper mod. Is there something i can do for the front calipers? Braided lines and a better brake pump are coming, but still the stock calipers are 50cc moped sized calipers!

Thanks!

i rememeber some one saying 450s calipers will work on a arm shee spindles. i just used the entire setup spindles hubs and calipers. i know for a fact the disc are the same. and for the rear use a 250r caliper. trust me on that one lol

Hmmmm., shee is a 99´er. Any options then?

banshee_boy09, is it needed that the brake MC comes from a quad like the ones you mention, or liter bikes for example, can be used?

I've picked up a couple sets of yfz front calipers on yfz central.com for $40 a set. Huge difference. Should bolt right up to 99 spindles. Might have to put shorter bolts

To be honest im not sure on the liter bikes, id say go ahead and stick with a quad/dirtbike mastercylinder because they are smaller, my zx636 had a pretty big mastercylinder on it. I bought an 08 yfz450 mastercylinder off of yfzcentral and put it on with my stock lines and calipers and it made a huge difference, so since the yfz front calipers bolt right one..I bought a pair for 50$ shipped and put them on, and it did make a difference, but what made the biggest change was the mc. And I agree with broncbob, the trx450 mc should be equally as good!

heres a post I did over on e2s!
