  1. One day 2 Strokes will save the Earth!!

  2. a blonde moment lol, we say more or less the same saying over here Guy was a lazy ass and didn´t want to drive to the post office, so he wanted a courier service. Size and weight made shipping too expensive to be worth them for me. Not in a hurry, i can wait anyways
  3. Well, as we all having some fun i´ll explain . Air weights, you can check it. Ok, a tire´s air content is meaningless, but here is the reason i asked. I live in Spain, was going to buy a set of back rims plus tires from an ending auction and was in a hurry to calculate shipping to know if they were worth the money after shipping. I wasn´t at home so i couldn´t weight my own shee´s tire, otherwise i´d had weighted it . Don´t know about the US, but in my country you can´t ship wheels full of air or bikes/quads with liquids. Ok, my fault, didn´t realise at that moment air inside of them wasn´t important into equation
  4. Still looking for one!
  5. Just PM´ed you.
  6. Want to buy a Keihin PWK 28, let me know if you have one lying around.
  7. Money is being blown in engine, tires, braking improvements, lighting and renew some parts to make look my shee mint. Budget is low after all the shopping, so shocks will be rebuilt at home. I´m used to rebuild my motorcycles bars with good luck, as everything the first time is harder then you know the steps. No money for a brand new good shock and want to learn to rebuild the shocks too. Front ölins with just rebound. Any tips or websites you can reccomend?
  8. Givin´ a second thought to the dyna fs ehem
  9. I was asking beacause i couldn´t weight it right then and was in a hurry to know its weight. Thanks. Nevermind, called a buddy and he weighted one for me.
  10. How much does it weight more or less a banshee back wheel, rubber and rim only, no air? Thanks!
  11. Nothing wrong with the dyna, but i´m not racing/drag racing with the shee. Got inner rotor setups with programmable boxes for the 70/180cc race tuned i ride with, but for the shee i´m not looking for such things. Been a motcycle man for more than 20 years, own a few bikes including a lightly tuned suzuki gsxr 1000. This is my first quad, still don´t know if quads are for me, (i´d say yes cose i like everything thats fast), but just by know i´m trying to keep things in some kind of a budget if you know what i mind. If like quads i´be blowing money like with my other toys , just want to make sure. From the scooter´s world, there is a cdi box with a wood key wich allows advance/retard with a good compromise of curve. Its just 50€, and its something i always use when building street setups for people who need to keep their lights. Then there is another problem, i have to travel 1 hour to a MX shop to use their dyno, but no quad dynos around here, and using numbers from a simulator isn´t safe enough for me. Rode my shee for five minutes and found it wasn´t runing fine even being the first one i´d driven, popped the head and found a ring had been chewed and no overbores since it was bought, pistons slapped like crazy . Bored to 65,5mm to get some free low end punch, Keihin 28s i get really cheap, and some basic porting, Waiting for tires and a cool head and domes, and was thinking about the cdi box. Woah, end of rant!
  12. What CDI are you guys using or reccomend? I´m looking for a box that advances and retards timing depending of revs. No programmable ignitions please.
  13. Hi guys! Need new tires. I mostly ride a mix of rocky and hard packed roads. What would you suggest? thanks!
  14. Hi Any of the site sponsors offering discounts for BHQ members? Planning to order a few goodies Thanks!
  15. Thanks for that, you saved me some money and time
  16. Clutch plates were stuck as with glue! Tried the 3rd gear fix with no luck so decided to open the clutch and had to use a flat srewdriver to separate them as carefully as possible. Then measured and the were alredy out of spec. Its gonna be a great machine once everything is fixed, was already amazed in it´s stock form hehe
  17. Have 2 Keihin PWK 28 carbs to fit to my shee. One has been bored early this week, the other one will be bored this weekend. They were sent in different days My stock cables are really damaged at the carbs side, need a new cable. Stock cables doesn´t look to like PWK´s fittings from what i´ve seen. What cable should i get then? Thanks
  18. Hmmmm., shee is a 99´er. Any options then? banshee_boy09, is it needed that the brake MC comes from a quad like the ones you mention, or liter bikes for example, can be used?
  19. Hi! Saw the rear brake CBR caliper mod. Is there something i can do for the front calipers? Braided lines and a better brake pump are coming, but still the stock calipers are 50cc moped sized calipers! Thanks!
  20. I´d would be for a few time till te coolhead arrives, but looking at pics of stock gasket looks quite thinner. Not marked, dented or warped.
  21. One more question, what throttle cables are you all using with these carbs?
  22. Thanks! Have used the PWK 28 on different applications and love them too. Was willing to use them on the shee and thats what i´m gonna do Good to know, Keihin needles can make a man go crazy sometimes, trying to find the good one. Got a bunch of them i had to buy, till i found the right one for a 180cc race scooter and still wasn´t 100% happy, but...
  23. Thanks a lot!
