Thinks its the carbs what should I set my air screw at got in at two and ahalf out and yesterday it ran awesome mid day got on it at night messed up again bowls are set even carbs seem to be synced they are clean it has dyno port big pipes 34 mm carns boost bottle vitos internals only does it sometimes and when it runs good in is great andreally fast doenst miss a beat then when it runs bad it will clean out in like 3rd gear ..any help???

Sounds kinda like mine. Ive been told to start with the mixture screw, if thats a no go, then move to the pilot jet, thats what controls the motor at idle to 1/4 throttle. Mine was running like a top when id get it above 1/4 throttle, but sluggish and boggy before that. I thought it was running lean, but the plugs were black, but not wet.

sounds like mine too, i ve jetted as lean as i can go and my plugs are black aswell. im gonna do a leak down test to check for any leaks? have you tried that?

All of you will chase the jetting if your electronics are not up to par,you would be amazed toosee some of the harness(nicked wires)stator,coil,flywheel problems i have found over the years in every case the bike ran just had symptoms like yours.Especilly the guy that cant go any leaner on the pilot,tell tale sign.Grounding is key,a contiunity test does a world of good along with an ohm meter to test components.I would strip the tape off the entire harness out of the machine,make sure the TORS wiring was dead ended correctly,then go over it.The harness is the veins of the electrical system a little clog cause weird shit to happen,a lil condinsation at night a little nick a little voltage drain.Im very anal but peice of mind is key.Then start process of elimination

Mine is doing the exact same thing!!! its pissing me off. I just put together a Vito;s 421 and iv been chasing it. Sometimes its fine. Other times its runing like on 1 cyclinder

Did you check your stator?Do you know how to use an ohm meter?Just like Sleeper said,you can chase jetting all day long ,if its an electrical issue,you will end up rejetting until you finally give up and buy a 4 stroke.

No i havent checked it. That will be my next step. I ordered a New Coil and wires. And Plug Caps. i put the coil on. Did the same thing. Waiting for my caps to come in.... Its Weird. One time the bike will sounds perfect and Fly! and next minutes it will Sound like its reving. But it wont be making any power? I think it sometimes just runs on 1 cyclinder.
