VERY POOR fitment!!!! You are correct they are very tight fit to get the two pipes to line up and the two pipes due touch. Mat Shearer has redesigned the way the drag pipes fit. He is redesigning the inframes as well for more clearance. The performance of the pipes speaks for its self. Quote
locogato11283 Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 all shearer pipes fit like shit. its a pretty well known issue. Quote
camatv Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 they sure run hard but the jigg that matt used must have been from a very very bent up beat up frame. Quote

I was just going to post something asking if there was a "trick" to get these to fit right. Guess not. I've got a set of small bore in-frames that touch the frame on the bottom and are real real close to the left side of the motor. Guess I just have to live with it? Quote
sandman81 Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 all shearer pipes fit like shit. its a pretty well known issue. Not my in frames. They fit perfect. But from what Ive been told they are the old style. Quote

VERY POOR fitment!!!! mine do the same.......just the nature of the beast from what i was told. the performance speaks for it self though.... I was just going to post something asking if there was a "trick" to get these to fit right. Guess not. there is a trick, you have to do some cussing while installing them. at least that's what i did.
