Third off inside the Crankshaft Assembly where the rods are they are like 2 gasket or bearings how do i seem to change them i try to take a picture to be more clearer last for collant can i use any 50 50 mix thanks negative captain,do not use any premix oil in ur tranny, that is for gasoline mix only!!!!!!!in the transmission, use atf fluid,10-40 motor oil or a special gear saver oil if u wanna spend alot of money for nothing.change it every 3 rides and ull have no problems.32:1 premix ratio is fine, thats what i run.u dont need to run 93 if ur stock motor with pipes,ur wasting money and honestly it might not run as good as 87.get 87.these puppies stock have poop for compression, like 6.somethin to 1 if im not mistaken.i see u run h1r in ur premix, klotz supertechniplate is awesome stuff if u are trying different oils.motors stay clean and havent had one blow yet.as for the crankshaft deal, are u talking about the base gaskets the cyls torque down to?ull need to post pics for that one.lastly, any coolant 50/50 will do fine.people also run redline or water wetter, but again, ive noticed no difference to define spending the dough for it.hope this helps!! 99bansheeworked Posted July 23, 2010 Author Report Posted July 23, 2010 ok so i got this out of the way 32.1 is fine and the collant question is done. Now i was talking about transmission oil. the h1r is not a premix i just talking that straight oil for the transmission.. i talking about where you put the oil. I not talking about the mixture anymore for gas i know about that Quote

TIM LUTZ Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Klotz Super techniplate at 40:1 Ran it for the past 30 years. IMO the best premix oil. Gear saver is great in the transmission but for the past 2 years I've been running Amsoil Super Shift Racing ATF. It's a synthetic SAE 10W and will put more power to the ground and give you the best feeling clutch ever. You guys that race Shees and use a lot of clutch, This is the only stuff you should be using. One thing you should never use with a wet clutch is synthetic motor oil like Mobil 1 Quote

TIM LUTZ Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Are you talking about the rod big end bearing? Can't tell for sure from the pics but looks like they have gotten hot. Can't just replace you need to have the crank rebuilt. Should be able to pick up a good used stock crank for $100 - $150 on ebay or from someone on this forum. Quote

sleeper06 Posted July 24, 2010 Report Posted July 24, 2010 It might be cheaper getting a new crank(used crank) then fixing that one.It looks like its rusted or something or bronzed from heat. Those crank need to be pressed apart ,old parts replaced and pressed together, trued up and welded for security.Unless you have some nice machinery you cant just replace them.
