Hey guys. i put pipes on my bike and re jetted, ran fine for a few months. Recently i need to dump a lil fuel into the carb to get it to start. Only if it sits for a week or so. So i was told on here last time to bump my pilot jet which i did. Also re jetted for warmer air. I am back to the same problem. It will only start with a lil fuel in the carb, then will start first kick for the next 3-4 days, but if it sits any longer got to add fuel again. I am lost! i don't no where to look? Also when it does start it revs real high almost like the choke is on, till i let the clutch out then it will come down and stay idling normal. Any ideas? thanks guys!

I would start by cleaning carbs one at a time, make sure choke tube is on. Inspect carb boots and do air leak test. Does it rev up on each and every start-up, wether you "primed" it or not ? Rev-up might besticky throttle cable or slides.

Sounds like fuel isnt getting to the carbs properly.

Pull the fuel line at both carbs and put them in a glass or something.

Turn the fuel valve on and see if it has a good flow.
